Dina Scott is a Division Quality Manager (DQM) for Wendys. Dina’s diverse professionalbackground includes over 28 years of experience in food safety consulting, bilingual (Spanish and English) multi-level training, auditing, management, and extensive experience in HACCP development and auditing food safety systems. She is a SQF registered trainer and consultant, a certified HACCP trainer (International HACCP Alliance), and a Certified Quality Auditor (American Society of Quality).

As a Division Quality Manager, Dina works closely with Purchasing, Operations, Culinary and Training to help develop and implement food safety and sanitation processes. She also serves as a liaison between restaurants and the local health departments that inspect them. Dina uses her fluency in spoken and written Spanish to augment all of her professional skills. She maintains professional memberships with ASQ, Georgia Food Safety and Defense Task Force, The International Association for Food Protection and the Georgia Association for Food Protection. She was a past chair of the Developing Food safety Professionals PDG and sits on the program committee for the GAFP.

Dina has specific manufacturing experience in red meat, pharmaceutical and beverage processing. She has developed programs to address issues related to Listeria, sanitation and HACCP verification. She has been published in industry trade publications such as Meat and Poultry and presented at the American Meat Association’s Food Safety Show as well as IAFP conference.

Dina lives Acworth, Georgia with her husband, Kevin, and daughter, Natalia.
