Don Jones is Vice President of Quality for Denver, Colorado-based Simply Good Foods Company (SMPL-NASDAQ), which holds the Atkins and Simply Protein brands. Responsibility includes oversight of all food safety, quality and product regulatory/labeling activities. Joining Atkins in March 2012, he previously worked with ConAgra Foods for 25 years. He has held Food Safety, Quality and R&D positions. He held plant level Quality positions in meat and poultry facilities for 10 years before moving into corporate level roles supporting the all of the business categories. He earned his bachelor’s in Biology from the University of North Carolina – Wilmington.
