Matt Jenkins currently works within the U.S. Restaurant Food Safety team at McDonalds where he has been for the last 2 years. He has over 16 years of experience in the quality assurance and food safety field, spending the majority of time within the foodservice industry. In his current position, he serves as a brand protector by helping to create, integrate, implement and maintain an end-to-end food safety philosophy that ensures that only high quality and safe food is served to all McDonald’s customers. A graduate of the University of Illinois with both a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Master of Public Health. He holds the following credentials: Certified Professional - Food Safety (CP-FS), Registered Environmental Health Specialist/ Registered Sanitarian (REHS/RS), Hazard Analysis Critical Control Point (HACCP) and Preventive Controls Qualified Individual (PCQI).
