Matt Jenkins currently works within the U.S. Food Safety & Quality Systems team at McDonalds where he has been for the last 6 years. He has over 20 years of experience in the quality assurance and food safety field, spending most of the time within the foodservice industry. In his current position, he serves as a brand protector by helping to create, integrate, implement, and maintain an end-to-end food safety philosophy that helps to ensure that only high quality and safe food is served to all McDonald’s customers. A graduate of the University of Illinois with both a Bachelor of Science in Microbiology and a Master of Public Health. He enjoys playing the guitar and hiking around Chicagoland with his wife and two children.
