Natalie Adan is originally from Atlanta, GA and graduated with a Bachelor of Science Degree in Biology from Georgia Southern University. Natalie works for the Georgia Department of Agriculture as the Deputy Chief of Operations where she assists in the management of the department regulatory operations including the Food Safety, Laboratories, Animal Industries, Ag Inputs, Structural Pest Control, Plant Protection, Fuel & Measures, Markets, and Licensing Divisions.
Natalie is committed to helping develop and implement a fully integrated food safety system rooted in public health principles and focused on prevention. She completed the International Food Protection Training Institute’s Fellowship in Food Protection Program in 2011 and actively participates in many food safety associations.
