Shannon currently holds the role of Product Specification and Nutrition Data Specialist at one of North America’s largest foodservice distributors - Performance Food Group (PFG). In her role, she manages the process and approval for product specifications as well as handling nutritional data on private label products sold to over 125,000 PFG customers.
She is also responsible for monitoring and approval of supplier compliance documentation… as well as handling nutritional data on private label specs.
Prior to Shannon’s current role, she served as the Nutrition Analyst for Darden, Inc - a premier full-service dining company, operating over 1800 locations. She offers a wealth of knowledge and experience creating best practices in developing successful testing scenarios for product specifications, document control, quality records and auditing modules.
In addition, Shannon served as the Product Specifications Coordinator for Darden for eight years. In her roles at Darden, Inc, Shannon managed over 800 suppliers and over 3000 specifications – as well as coordinating with multiple Darden departments to exceed all key objectives within the Total Quality Department.
