Sharon Mayl

Sharon Lindan Mayl serves as the Senior Advisor for Policy to the Deputy Commissioner for Food Policy and Response. In this position, she oversees significant policy initiatives in the foods area. Ms. Mayl co-leads the teams that are developing the FSMA import rules and guidance documents, including those related to the Foreign Supplier Verification Program, Voluntary Qualified Import Program, and Accredited Third-Party Certification Program, as well as the implementation of those import programs. Ms. Mayl is a graduate of Cornell University and Harvard Law School.
