Avoid Scams

ATTENDEE LIST

Numerous companies have been contacting Food Safety Summit attendees, sponsors and exhibitors claiming to sell/rent Food Safety Summit attendee list. Any third party attempting to solicit money in exchange for attendee information is fraudulent. Neither Food Safety Summit nor any of our partners will ever distribute attendee information except as outlined in our sponsorship contracts and privacy policy.

Many of these firms are increasingly deceptive and aggressive in their marketing tactics - sometimes falsely including Food Safety Summit logo/website/name in their email signatures.  These companies have no affiliation with Food Safety Summit, Food Safety magazine or BNP Media and should be ignored. Unfortunately, because company names and “From” email addresses frequently change, it makes it very challenging to stop their actions.

We’re sorry for the inconvenience that these spammers may cause you — we also receive these deceptive emails:

HOTELS

Food Safety Summit secures room blocks at discounted rates at several area hotels. Conveniently located around the convention center and within walking distance of the convention center, staying at these hotels will help make your trip to Rosemont, IL affordable.

Only book through Food Safety Summit website for event room blocks and avoid companies falsely posing as a partner of the Show. Companies or attendees who book rooms through a “third party room broker” often end up at sold out hotels with no reservations and no recourse for the payment of rooms. These brokers falsely imply they are affiliated with Food Safety Summit and secure deposits and/or full prepayment fraudulently.

ADVERTISING

Food Safety Summit does not work with any third party to sell advertising or sponsorships. If you are interested in advertising in Food Safety Summit Guide, or participating in any other sponsorship opportunity, please contact your Food Safety Summit sales manager.
