Sheryl Shaw, DVM, MPH, DACVPM

Dr. Shaw is a veterinarian with 30+ years of experience in private practice and public service. She received her DVM from Washington State University and MPH from the University of Minnesota. She is a Diplomate of the American College of Veterinary Preventive Medicine and a Senior Executive Fellow from the Harvard Kennedy School of Government. She received the Daniel E Salmon Award for outstanding contributions and notable service in the public’s interest by a veterinarian federally employed in any human health, environmental health, or animal health discipline. She currently serves as Director of the Applied Epidemiology Staff within the Office of Public Health Science in FSIS
