NSF, a leading global public health and safety organization, provides expertise and accredited food services across all supply chain sectors. This year, NSF is hosting a special presentation at the Food Safety Summit’s Solutions Stage on Wednesday, May 11, 1:00-1:30 p.m.
The presentation, titled “Food & Beverage Industry Trends, Challenges, and Opportunities,” will feature Tracy Fink, Senior Manager of Food Safety Consulting, North America, at NSF and an industry expert in food safety regulations and supply chain operations.
The session will spotlight some of the latest food trends globally and the impacts that these trends may have on the food and beverage industry. It will also dive into how the COVID-19 pandemic and other illnesses that impact worker safety, sanitation and production.
With current events impacting supply chains around the world, Fink will talk through ways to navigate through disruptions and source materials. In addition, she will provide guidance on how to meet the stringent and ever-changing regulatory landscape and how such requirements, such as traceability record-keeping, impact manufacturers and businesses throughout the industry.
NSF is a respected, independent third-party organization in certification, testing, auditing and regulatory compliance, all of which support food safety worldwide. In addition to the Solutions Stage presentation, NSF will host a booth (#509) during the summit to showcase its services for the food industry.
