Wednesday at the 2022 Food Safety Summit began with a keynote presentation that featured a panel of regulatory and industry representatives who discussed their perspectives on the future, implementation, and importance of food safety culture.

Food safety leaders at nationally recognized restaurant chains gathered at the 2022 Food Safety Summit to discuss the importance of developing food safety management systems (FSMS), as well as ideas on how to develop FSMS.

A panel of experts from regulatory, state agriculture, and consumer advocacy groups shared their views on recall modernization and improvement at a Wednesday educational session at the 2022 Food Safety Summit.

During a Tuesday afternoon workshop of the 2022 Food Safety Summit, regulators and the regulated industry shared suggestions for how to better communicate together and meet regulated requirements while maintaining a sensible level of operational necessity.

The 2022 Food Safety Summit opened with a mock civil trial focusing on a fatal listeriosis outbreak. The workshop was led by attorneys from Food Industry Counsel LLC and included witness testimony, cross-examination, and a jury of conference attendees.

The Tuesday workshops at the 2022 Food Safety Summit featured an education session on the importance of food safety audits, the types of food safety audits that can be employed, and the benefits of sharing ownership of auditing.
