The first-ever Virtual Food Safety Summit occurred last week, from Monday, October 19 through Thursday, October 22. 

The Food Safety Summit continued on Wednesday, October 21, with a session entitled “Food Fraud Prevention – Introduction, Implementation, and Management.”

The Food Safety Summit continued on Tuesday, October 20, with a keynote presentation entitled “Back to Basics: Consumer-Focused Food Safety.”

The Food Safety Summit continued on Tuesday, October 20, with a session entitled “What am I Getting Into? Suppliers & Co-Packers Linked to Food Safety.”

The virtual Food Safety Summit opened on Monday, October 19, with a session entitled “COVID-19: The New Normal for the Food Industry.”

NSF International, a global public health and safety organization, has announced Dr. Jennifer McEntire, senior vice president of food safety and technology at the United Fresh Produce Association, as this year’s Food Safety Leadership Award recipient.

The Food Safety Summit education program, the leading interactive forum on food safety, has begun virtually today, Monday, October 19, and will run through Thursday, October 22.

The 2020 Virtual Food Safety Summit will offer four days of education with 26 sessions, access to vendors who will be showcasing the newest and most innovative food safety solutions and several online networking opportunities.

Due to the COVID-19 pandemic, the Food Safety Summit will now be a virtual event. 

BNP Media announced today that the 2020 Food Safety Summit will be a virtual experience instead of an in-person event.
