Last week, PerkinElmer officially opened its new Taipei Customer Knowledge Center (CKC) in Neihu District, Taipei City, Taiwan.
PerkinElmer’s CKC represents a relocation and expansion of the company’s existing 25 year presence in Taiwan. The new location is said to be ideal and in position to offer the best support and services to customers. The new facility is equipped with PerkinElmer's innovative detection and analytical instruments for providing instrument demonstrations, sample analysis, application testing, method development, education and training in food safety, environmental testing, and industrial applications.
"Opening this new Taipei CKC in an area where many of Taiwan's technology industry is situated is a strategic investment that enables us to further connect with our customers and partners," says PerkinElmer’s vice president and general manager of global sales and service Nam-Hoon Kim. PerkinElmer's customers in Taiwan include academic institutions, government agencies, foundations and large corporations spanning electronics, semiconductors, petrochemicals, food, materials engineering, chemical industry, pharmaceuticals, inspections, biotechnology, medical, and other industries.
