Alchemy Systems, global leader of innovative technologies and services, today launched a new library of courses for Vegetarian and Frozen Foods producers. The Workplace Safety and Food Safety curriculum reflects the market-specific needs unique to companies in frozen foods and vegetarian food product industries.
Amy’s Kitchen, a client of Alchemy, was instrumental in the development of these courses and has already implemented them in their food safety program. “Alchemy has provided a unique interactive learning experience for our employees with SISTEM, and we are thrilled that they have added a meatless library,” said Bret Mohar, VP of Manufacturing at Amy’s Kitchen. “This completely aligns with our culture and core values as a vegetarian and natural foods manufacturer.”
These courses are targeted at the hourly worker and follow a highly visual, proven pedagogy to effectively train employees in the food industry. Frequent use of industry-specific imagery within the context of important safety initiatives increases employee retention. The new course catalog contains over 45 course topics for Food and Workplace Safety, such as GMPs, Allergens, HACCP and Hazard Communication. This Vegetarian and Frozen Foods library is in addition to Alchemy’s robust offering including fresh produce, bakery, dry goods and other industry-specific content.
Serving over 1,400 food processing and manufacturing locations worldwide, Alchemy understands the unique challenges faced by employers focused on ensuring compliance with industry and regulatory standards. “We are focused on equipping our clients with a unique solution that is tailored to meet their specific needs, such as those defined by vegetarian, dairy and frozen food companies,” said Jeff Eastman, CEO of Alchemy.
