Atlas Copco Sets Precedent with ISO 22000 Food Safety Certification

In May 2015, Atlas Copco’s Oil-free Air Division in Antwerp, Belgium was awarded ISO 22000 certification for food safety. Atlas Copco is the first compressor manufacturer to receive this food and beverage industry certification. More importantly, this sets a new standard for key suppliers to the food and beverage industry who can now start adding ISO 22000 certification as a key requirement to their compressor requests for proposals.
