Mérieux NutriSciences recently announced the acquisition of a majority shareholding in traQ’food, a French start-up commercializing a digital application for restaurants and food service to manage their hygiene and sanitary control plan. traQ’food strategically complements Mérieux NutriSciences’ already existing Digital Solutions portfolio.
Founded in 2015, traQ’food markets the traQ'food application that simplifies the daily management of the Sanitary Control Plan for caterers and restaurants. Adapted to any type and size of business the application offers various features such as label traceability, goods inspection or temperature reading sensors allowing notably to digitize documentation, be compliant with regulation and automate supply management. In 2016, the traQ’food application received a “Blue Ocean Award”, a contest set up to reward French companies creating new markets through their innovative services or products.
