The United Nations' Food and Agriculture Organization and German trade show producer Messe Düsseldorf GmbH established SAVE FOOD in 2011 to bring the issue of global food loss to the international political and economic agenda. Since then, 90 food packaging and processing companies have stepped up to support this worldwide battle against hunger.
