Sealed Air to Sell Diversey Care and Food Hygiene Divisions
According to multiple reports, Sealed Air Corporation has made plans to sell Diversey Care, along with the company’s food hygiene and cleaning division. Diversey Care provides sustainable cleaning and hygiene solutions. The new owner--Bain Capital Private Equity--has renamed the two divisions New Diversey.
With the sale underway, Sealed Air will now focus on its other offerings, one of which includes food packaging. The company’s portfolio includes Cryovac food packaging, and the well-known Bubble Wrap brand.
The deal, worth roughly $3.2 billion, is expected to officially close later this year.
