The new Allergen Identification feature alerts users of potential allergens for submitted ingredients, helping users accurately label allergens across all recipes and product labels within the Genesis Foods software.
The new feature analyzes the custom ingredient data entered and alerts the user to potential allergens, even when listed under alternative names or derivatives. The proactive alerts allow for swift corrective actions, such as clearer ingredient labeling, revised recipes to avoid potential allergens, and improved supplier communication to confirm allergen information and address any discrepancies.
The Allergen Identification feature is part of the next-generation version of Genesis Foods—a modern, cloud-based evolution of Trustwell’s software, offering enhanced usability, real-time updates, and expanded capabilities for nutrition analysis and labeling compliance.
