The U.S. Food and Drug Administration (FDA) has published a new webpage listing retail food safety resources and information. The webpage categorizes FDA’s most popular retail food safety information in a table format sortable by topic, title, type of document, and languages available.
Types of resources listed on the webpage include scientific articles, databases, factsheets, posters, guides, handbooks, and other tools.
With the release of the new webpage, FDA also highlighted a new resource, titled, “FDA’s Job Aid: Time and Temperature Control for Safety Foods.” The job aid is intended to be used in conjunction with the FDA Food Code to help the user determine if a food is considered a Time/Temperature Control for Safety Food, according to the definition provided in the Food Code.
