Belgian-based Bekina Boots, the second largest manufacturer of Polyurethane (PU) safety boots worldwide, has announced its expansion into the U.S. market through a distribution center based in Chicago, Illinois.
The Bekina Boots product range caters to the industry specific needs of agriculture, food processing, fishery, and other sectors. The company has its own state-of-the-art laboratory where the performance and safety of the boots are continuously subjected to the latest international norms and standards. All boots available in the U.S. are ASTM certified, ensuring compliance with local safety standards, and hold the latest slip resistance certification, ASTM F3445–21.
Bekina Boots makes its boots out of NEOTANE, a high-quality PU with high thermal insulation value. In comparison to PVC or rubber boots, NEOTANE boots are 40 percent lighter and three times more durable.
