The Food and Agriculture Organization of the United Nations (FAO) and the World Health Organization (WHO) will host a webinar on May 10, 2024 for stakeholders to explore ways to take part in World Food Safety Day (WFSD) and to learn more about this year’s theme. Registration is required.

Organized jointly by FAO and WHO, WFSD takes place on June 7 each year. The theme of WFSD 2024—the sixth annual celebration of WFSD—is “Food Safety: Prepare for the Unexpected. WFSD was established to draw attention and inspire action to help prevent, detect, and manage food safety risks.

The upcoming webinar, taking place Friday, May 10 at 7:00 A.M. ET, will introduce attendees to the resources developed by FAO and WHO for WFSD 2024. The event will include a question-and-answer session.
